What should I bring while my dog comes to daycare?
Nothing. Unless you specifically need your dog to have a snack while they are on break time or need medication, we will cover everything they need!
What should I bring while my dog stays overnight?
As little as possible. We have the crates already set up. We provide blankets, bowls, and hard toys like benebones. All we need is you to provide the food, if your dog(s) are on any medication or supplements and we got everything else covered. If your dog is on medication and they don't just eat with their food, please provide pill pockets/cheese or anything to wrap their medications in. You are welcomed to bring specific beds/blankets or whatever you feel your dog needs, however the Doggy See, Doggy Do Facility is not responsible for any items damaged.
I forgot my dog's food. What do I do?!?
We get accidents happen or if you don't feel like lugging their food area we can provide food with an additional cost. It's additional $2 a day per dog. We use the Food Diamond's Natural All-Life Stages as our backup food for our clients.
Does someone stay overnight with the dogs?
Yes! Someone is overnight in case of any emergencies. Our facility is also monitored 24/7, temperature controlled, we have ample fire alarms that alert the alarm company and will call the fire department quickly, as well as security alarms. We strive for safety and have protocols in place in case of any emergency that happens.
How clean is your facility?
With lots of dogs there will always be some drool, some hair, but we strive to keep everything is clean us possible. We clean crates and bowls in between each use. Blankets get ran through the washing machine and toys get sterilized in between use. We pick up poop outside immediately. We also have air purifiers in each room with the dogs. Cleaning frequently allows us to breathe easily (literally) and ensure viruses/contaminates away from the dogs.
Are you allowed to contact us to see how your dog is doing?
Absolutely! We understand you might miss your fur baby and you are welcome to reach out to our Facebook page or shoot us a text to see how your dog is doing. We try to send frequent pictures or post on our Facebook page so you can see your dog is doing great!
Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered to attend daycare?
We do allow unfixed dogs to attend daycare, HOWEVER for females if we believe they might be in heat they will not be allowed to attend during that time or during playgroup. For males if they are too much of humpers and they are disrupting the peace we will not allow them to participate in the play groups as well. Daycare is supposed to be fun, and dogs should receive positive stimulation. We want to ensure safety, fun, and socialization. There will be NO BABIES on our watch!
Are we open 24/7?
No, we have core hours. Yes, there might be staff on site 24/7, but this isn't a hotel where clients can just come and go. Daycare and Boarding has core drop off and pick up times. Boarding is 365 days a year, however no pickup days on major holidays to allow our staff time with their families. On major holidays daycare will be closed as well.
What happens if I miss pick up for daycare?
We understand emergencies/accidents happen. Your dog will just stay with us overnight for the boarding rate and you can come pick up the following day. An additional $2 cost will also be added for feeding your pet.
Can you administer medication?
Yes, we can give pills, administer medication, or whatever your pill needs at no additional cost. If your dog does not just accept their medication in their food, please provide pill pockets/cheese/etc. as we do not provide those extra amenities.
