Bully Paws Pit Bull Patriots is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue. Working with shelters in the MD/DC/VA area, they place homeless pit bull type dogs in foster homes. There, they are cared for by dedicated volunteers until they are adopted.

Bully Paws strive to keep expenses and overhead as low as possible, enabling them to direct money towards the care of the foster dogs. Bully Paws is 100% volunteer driven. Bully Paws' volunteers support all aspects of their mission including administrative work, animal care, fundraising, outreach, and event support.

Bully Paws is very near and dear to my heart. I am also a foster parent with Bully Paws. Below are some of my babies who have been adopted. If you have any questions regarding Bully Paws please contact me. We are always looking for adopters, volunteers, new foster parents or even people who are looking to donate.

Bobbie's Pit Bull Rescue and Sanctuary was created in early 2016, exclusively for charitable, educational purposes, more specifically to rescue, to rehabilitate, and ultimately find suitable homes specifically of the “bully” breeds like American Pit Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bully, American Bulldog, and mixes thereof.  To act as a facilitating adoption partner with the local county animal control/animal shelters and in accordance with local and federal laws.

They work with the public to bring awareness to the above listed breeds and responsible pet ownership. They educate and provide resources regarding the importance of spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative measures, management and correction of behavioral problems and to work with low income and/or homeless individuals or families to allow them to care for and maintain a healthy and happy pet.

I have been working with quite a few members with Bobbie's to help out their pit bulls and its a great organization. They do great work for the community. If you are interested in helping out Bobbie's Rescue here is the link:   https://www.bobbiespitrescue.org/

FETCH A Cure is a 501 ©(3) non-profit organization determined to improve quality of life by connecting people and pets through accessible, compassionate treatment and education.

Our vision is simple: A community where no one is denied a choice for their pet due to lack of options, education or funding.

Through community outreach by way of events, campaigns and fundraisers, FETCH is working to promote the need to help pets live long, healthy lives. FETCH continually works to raise awareness and further education about pet cancer prevention, detection and treatment and senior care and aging issues.

We provide financial aid to families unable to bear the cost of the life-saving treatments for their pets that have been diagnosed with cancer through the Companions in Crisis program. FETCH continues to work towards providing more accessible treatment options for all within our community.

Through the Pixie’s Pen Pals program, FETCH is helping rescue dogs and inmates in Virginia correctional centers earn a second chance. By working cooperatively and bonding with the animals, the inmates learn responsibility, patience, tolerance and
life-long skills, while the trained dogs find life-long homes.
